• I am a South African–qualified pediatrician with over ten years of experience dedicated to pediatrics and child health. I hold a Master of Medicine in Pediatrics from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Fellowship from the College of Paediatricians of South Africa. In addition, I have obtained a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in HIV Management through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa, further strengthening my expertise in comprehensive pediatric care.

 • My special interest lies in neonatology and the care of the newborn. I completed my specialist training at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in the world, where I had the privilege of serving vulnerable rural and semi-urban communities in Soweto, South Africa. This experience shaped my clinical approach, grounding it in both evidence-based medicine and compassionate, community-centered care.

 • Alongside my clinical responsibilities, I have been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at the University of the Witwatersrand, contributing to the training of medical students and pediatric registrars. Teaching has been a deeply rewarding aspect of my career, allowing me to support the development of future healthcare professionals.

 • As a new mother, I have gained a profound appreciation for the lived experience of parenthood. This personal journey has enriched my understanding of holistic child care, strengthening my empathy and reinforcing my commitment to partnering with families in nurturing healthy, thriving children.

 • I look forward to embarking on this new chapter at Health Plus Medical, where I am committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality pediatric care and supporting families at every stage of their child’s development.
